A great day was had by all. The tournament was hosted by All Ability Sports & Leisure. The day had funding from Active Harlow via Harlow Council. With teams from Bexley Dodgers, YMCA Romford, Tabor, Ipswich Jaxs, All Ability Sports and Harlow Hurricanes. Overall winners were Bexley Dodgers with All Ability Sports and Harlow Hurricanes coming 4th and 5th place.

Teams of 3 - 6 players are invited to take part in the Active Harlow Boccia Tournament which will be taking place on Saturday 3rd September from 10am to 1pm. The cost is £10 per team. Boccia is a Paralympic sport for athletes with disabilitlies that have a majer impact on motor skills. Boccia is a target ball sport belonging to the same family as petancque and bowls. The National League is a pan-disability, team competition, split into county/regional groups where top teams progress to a National Final. All Ability Sports and Leisure, have a team playing in the National League named Harlow Hurricanes Boccia Squad. [...]
In 2013 we were very pleased to be accepted onto the Jack Petchey Achievement Award Scheme, and we have been given Silver award status. The Taster Day took place from 11am to 3pm on 16th August 2014 at Stewards Academy, Swimming Pool, Parnell Road, Harlow, CM18 7NQ. Many participants enjoyed trying out activities such as Boccia, Wheelchair Basketball, Seated Volleyball, Table Cricket, Football, Athletics, Swimming with Sea Scooters and a Bouncy Castle. This event was funded via the Essex All Ability Games project on behalf of Active Harlow.
A fantastic Competition, took place at Harlow Athletic Club Athletics Track at Mark Hall Sport Centre on Saturday 3rd May. With 44 Participants, who travelled from all over Essex. Pitney Bowes Ltd celebrated their annual 'Diversity and Inclusion Culture Week' this year by including an afternoon of wheelchair sports on Saturday 23rd October 2013.
